Assistant Property Manager

The Evans Company is looking for a candidate to blow us away with enthusiasm to assist commercial tenants in all aspects of property management, strong attention to detail, and a drive to begin a long-term career with tons of growth opportunities. Schedule: Full-time. M-F, 40 hours/week. 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience Responsibilities 1. TENANT LEASE ADMINISTRATION including ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ADMINISTRATION 2. PROPERTY OPERATIONS and EXPENSE ADMINISTRATION / ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

Qualifications Basic Qualifications High School diploma/GED required College coursework/Bachelors degree in business/accounting/ useful or preferred Real Estate Broker’s License preferred but not required Experience Customer-facing work experience Financial and accounting acumen or similar experience in budget preparation and financial reporting preferred Commercial real estate or property management experience a huge plus Familiarity with building systems, lease negotiations, documentation, and administration helpful Experience with accruals as well as CAM estimates and reconciliations useful Requirements Reasoning / Skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Excellent organizational skills Ability to define and resolve problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Flexible and willing to learn new tasks Ability to respond to and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule format Strategic thinker with strong implementation orientation Ability to read, analyze, and interpret legal documents (lease documents, claims of lien, etc.), professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior-level management, clients, tenants, vendors, and peers Ability to apply concepts such as percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations Ability to analyze, interpret, and explain financial statements and calculate variances Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, prorations, percentages, and volumes as these concepts relate to rent, parking fees, and late fees Technology Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Capable of learning new programs and technology Benefits Paid time off Employee assistance program Health insurance Dental insurance Life insurance Vision insurance The Evans Company is an Equal Opportunity employer.
