Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions remotely, utilizing secure video conferencing tools to ensure client confidentiality and high-quality engagement.

• Perform comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ mental health issues, subsequently crafting tailored treatment plans that set measurable objectives for recovery and growth.

• Employ evidence-based interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and other modalities suited to individual client needs.

• Provide immediate support during acute mental health crises, employing techniques to stabilize situations and ensure client safety.

• Document client interactions meticulously, including progress notes and treatment modifications, in compliance with ethical standards and regulatory guidelines.

• Deliver psychoeducation to clients, equipping them with insights on their mental health, coping mechanisms, and available resources for ongoing support.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with healthcare providers, community resources, and referral systems to deliver comprehensive care.

• Participate in ongoing professional development, including workshops and training, to stay informed about the latest trends and practices in the mental health field.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.

Compensation and Benefits\n
