Tooling Sales Specialist

We're looking for a driven Tooling Sales Specialist to support manufacturers across Ohio / Eastern PA territory. In this role, you'll help companies get the most out of their Amada machines by providing tooling and accessory solutions. You'll manage existing customer relationships, identify opportunities to win business from competitors, and provide expert application support for press brake and turret tooling.

Essential functions include making sales calls to established customers, providing status reports and call reports to Manager, keeping informed of product knowledge and pricing information, and performing other related duties as assigned by management. You'll develop new business and manage existing accounts within the territory, provide tooling recommendations, quotes, and application support to manufacturers, deliver product presentations and demonstrations to decision makers, work closely with Amada service and machine sales teams to maximize customer value, and maintain strong product knowledge of sheet metal tooling solutions.

Non-essential functions include preparing special reports, as needed, and assisting in miscellaneous duties within the department.

Reporting relationship is with the Tooling Sales Manager, and there are no subordinate staff. Knowledge required includes experience in industrial, manufacturing, or B2B sales (tooling, metalworking, capital equipment, or similar), familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes (press brakes, turrets, CNC machining, etc.) a plus, strong communication and customer-facing skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office; able to create quotes and presentations, and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory.

Skills include computer knowledge (word processing and spreadsheets), basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software products (e.g. PowerPoint and Excel) for use in Sales Presentations, and excellent communication skills (verbal and written), detailed-oriented.

Travel is frequent, and the territory includes Ohio / Eastern PA territory. The candidate can be located in Dayton, Columbus, or Cleveland OH. The pay range is base $46,080 annually plus commission. Top earners can earn $100,000-$130,000.

Ability to work harmoniously with others and ability to accept and follow instructions are also required. Lifting: Average weight: 25 lb. Frequency: Daily.
