Travel RN – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/PCU setting, monitoring and managing patients requiring intermediate-level acuity care
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Perform continuous cardiac monitoring, hemodynamic assessment, and timely intervention for changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with facility protocols and nursing standards of practice
• Accurately document all patient care activities, assessments, and outcomes in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina or compact state eligibility
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a PCU, Stepdown, or IMC setting
• Travel contract experience or ability to adapt quickly to a new facility environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems used in acute care environments
• Prior travel nursing experience in a similar stepdown or intermediate care unit
