We are looking for a detail-oriented Construction Accounting Clerk to join a busy team near Twinsburg, Ohio. This position supports accurate financial operations by reviewing vendor documentation, validating costs, and helping maintain reliable job-related records. The ideal candidate brings strong Excel skills, a solid background in accounts payable or job costing, and the ability to work carefully in a fast-paced construction-related environment.

Responsibilities:

• Examine vendor invoices for accuracy by confirming pricing, quantities, and job assignments before processing

• Research billing issues and work with appropriate contacts to correct discrepancies in a timely manner

• Monitor and organize construction material tickets to support accurate recordkeeping

• Compare material delivery tickets against supplier invoices and prepare matched items for payment entry

• Input and update vendor pricing quotes to keep reference data current and dependable

• Help strengthen accounting workflows by identifying opportunities for process improvement and supporting implementation efforts

• Maintain precise job cost records through consistent verification of charges, quantities, and billing details

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting, accounts payable, job costing, or a closely related function

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to manage detailed financial information

• Background in invoice processing, data entry, and accounts payable activities

• Construction industry experience is strongly preferred

• Familiarity with construction materials, supplier invoicing, and job costing practices is preferred

• Ability to work with a high level of accuracy in a detail-driven role

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, engaging approach to working with others
