Junior Accountant

Location: Beverly Hills, CA 90212 (Onsite- Must be local) Salary: $75,000–$90,000 depending on experience Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | About the Role We are seeking a Jr Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance team supporting a growing real estate investment company . This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant with approximately 1–5 years of accounting experience who is eager to learn, grow, and take on additional responsibilities . The ideal candidate is positive, motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to build their career in real estate accounting . Key Responsibilities Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations . Support monthly and quarterly financial close . Perform bank and intercompany reconciliations . Assist with AP/AR and expense processing . Assist with acquisitions, dispositions, and equity transactions . Support cash management, distributions, and bank activity . Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation . Assist with investor, lender, audit, and tax requests . Prepare and maintain Excel trackers and financial reports . Assist with accounting projects and process improvements . Learn and use new technology, AI, and automation tools . Required Qualifications 1-5 years of accounting experience ; open to slightly less or more for the right candidate. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Experience working in Real Estate or a related corporate accounting environment, such as private equity or other investment firms. Knowledge of GAAP and the full accounting cycle . Must have general accounting experience and not just AP clerk Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close . Experience with an accounting/ERP system . Excellent attention to detail and organization . Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Motivated to grow and take on additional responsibilities . Bonus Qualifications Real estate or property accounting experience. Experience with private equity, investment firms, or other real estate-related companies . Experience with multi-entity accounting . Exposure to acquisitions/dispositions, investor accounting, or distributions . Experience with Juniper Square or similar platforms.
