Junior Accountant

A respected financial services organization is seeking a Junior Accountant to join its growing accounting team. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career accounting professional looking to gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and corporate accounting.
Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end close activities and journal entry preparation
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Prepare schedules and reports for management review
- Assist with annual audits and compliance requirements
- Support various accounting and finance projects as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting experience (internships welcomed)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
