***CONTRACT LENGTH: 6+ Months***

Overview:

Seeking a Staff Accountant to support a variety of accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable/Billing, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities. This role will have a strong focus on reconciling transactions and resolving integration issues between NetSuite and other financial systems.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Accounts Payable activities, including reviewing and processing employee expense reports and assisting employees with expense-related questions and issues
• Set up and maintain new employee expense profiles and ensure expense-related information is accurate and complete
• Handle monthly Accounts Receivable and billing activities
• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and in accordance with accounting procedures
• Perform account and transaction reconciliations, researching discrepancies and making necessary corrections
• Reconcile financial data between NetSuite and integrated third-party systems, identifying and resolving synchronization or posting issues
• Reconcile two corporate credit card accounts, including manually importing transactions into NetSuite when system integrations are unavailable or not functioning properly
• Export reports from various systems and use Excel to compare data, identify discrepancies, and validate financial information
• Assist with month-end close activities as time permits, including reconciliations, journal entries, and other accounting support

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience working with NetSuite is required
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Excel skills, including the ability to export reports, compare data, identify discrepancies, and perform data analysis
• Accounting or Finance degree preferred, but equivalent hands-on accounting experience will be considered
