A pharmacy position is available for a licensed pharmacist to work in a hospital rehab setting in Boston, MA. This contract role begins ASAP and has a duration of at least 13 weeks. The schedule is Monday through Friday, day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense medications and counsel patients in a hospital rehabilitation environment
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to manage patient medication therapy
- Utilize hospital systems such as Epic and Pyxis for order processing and inventory management
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications:
- Massachusetts pharmacy license required; retail pharmacists and new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Experience or familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations preferred
- Proficient with Epic and Pyxis systems or willingness to learn quickly
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
