Job Description:As an extension of the medical and client service team, the ER Liaison is the connection between the client and the medical team. This is a great role for someone with strong communication skills looking for an opportunity to move their career forward in the veterinary field. Job Duties Include: Create a streamlined process for the client to provide care to their pet; Assist clients in understanding the estimates for their pet's medical care; Provide a point of contact for owners while their pets are hospitalized; Organize the documents and medications in preparation for discharges; Perform patient discharges when applicable; Coordinate the transfer of patients from the primary veterinarians; Assist with acquiring patient’s records from the primary veterinarians; Ensure patient’s primary veterinarians are notified and provided medical updates in a timely manner; Monitor incoming radiology reports and blood work results to emergency doctors for follow-up; Input and check the charges to ensure accuracy Job Type: Full Time Pay Range: $20 - $25 depending on experience Shift Differentials Available Shifts: Variable shifts available - weekend and evening shift availability preferred Reasons you should consider Veterinary Specialists of CT: The hospital team meets frequently, and your ideas and suggestions are encouraged to help us continue to grow.
