Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be an essential part of our clinical team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for couples and families.
\n
• Facilitating therapy sessions that address a wide range of issues, including but not limited to: alcohol and substance abuse, domestic conflicts, grief and loss, blended family dynamics, and communication barriers.

• Providing both group and individual support sessions, ensuring that each family member's voice and needs are heard and addressed.
\n
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care and share best practices.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to achieve successful patient outcomes.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
\n
• Participating in regular team meetings for case consultations and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will include diverse families, couples, and individuals navigating various life challenges. Specific areas of focus will involve:

• Managing grief and loss, ensuring clients have adequate support during sensitive transitions.

• Addressing family conflicts, including sibling disputes and parent-child communication issues.
\n
• Providing guidance to blended families to create a harmonious home environment, especially following remarriage.

• Supporting clients through the emotional and psychological aspects of separation and divorce.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Current and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of California.
\n
• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field.
