Hiring for an Bilingual Spanish/English HR Coordinator in Salisbury, MA

Long-term coverage (at least 6 months, maybe longer)

Schedule: 40HPW; Ideally 4x10s Mon-Thurs anywhere between 7a-7p (Option to work on Fridays, but they only do half days so would have to make up hours elsewhere)
Pay: $25-30/hour (based on experience)

• Please note, this sits in a shared office with the warehouse so there are some noticeable odors from the manufacturing 

Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented and organized Temporary Human Resources Coordinator to support daily HR operations at our Salisbury, Massachusetts manufacturing facility.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this position will provide administrative and operational support across various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, HRIS administration, payroll coordination, benefits support, and employee communications.
This is a temporary assignment anticipated to last a minimum of six months to provide coverage during an employee leave of absence.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, including new-hire documentation and orientation.
• Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HRIS data.
• Process routine employee transactions and maintain HR documentation.
• Assist with payroll administration, timekeeping, attendance tracking, and absence reporting.
• Provide administrative support for employee benefits, leave of absence programs, and related documentation.
• Assist with recruiting activities, including scheduling interviews, maintaining applicant records, and coordinating pre-employment requirements.
• Respond to routine employee inquiries regarding company policies, benefits, and HR procedures.
• Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, and employee communications.
• Support HR compliance activities, training coordination, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Assist the Human Resources Manager with additional HR projects and administrative responsibilities as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information.

Qualifications
Required:

• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
• Ability to work full-time, on-site in Salisbury, MA.

Preferred:

• 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources or a related administrative role.
• Experience with HRIS platforms, including SAP, Workforce, or similar systems.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Additional Information
This position requires on-site attendance at our Salisbury, MA facility. The preferred schedule is Monday through Thursday, four 10-hour shifts, with scheduling flexibility based on operational needs.
