Adjunct Instructor, Photography, UC Blue Ash College

Job Overview Part‑time adjunct faculty will provide instruction in photography and related subjects including controls for film and digital equipment, composition, and lighting principles for color and black‑white images. Adjuncts will teach courses in person during day or evening sessions, using Canvas and textbook‑specific systems, hold regular office hours, respond to student communications promptly, and participate in at least one professional development workshop each year. This position is not eligible for visa or green‑card sponsorship. Essential Functions Teach assigned undergraduate courses on a part‑time basis. Use instructional best practices to continually evaluate student coursework. Conduct office hours and respond to student inquiries in a timely manner. Engage in ancillary activities that support the department’s teaching mission. Complete any other duties assigned. Required Education Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a related field. Required Experience Prior teaching experience and relevant industry experience in photography or visual communication. Additional Qualifications Considered Master’s or MFA degree.
