What You'll Do

• Provide first assist documentation during gynecological surgeries, including robotic procedures
• Assist surgeons in inpatient OR settings for 2-6 surgeries daily
• Support patient safety and care standards during surgical procedures
• Work alongside the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective operations
• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner/Oracle EMR systems
• Collaborate with physicians and staff in a busy hospital environment

What You Need

Required:

• First Assist Certification with robotic surgery experience
• Valid state license to practice as a PA
• BLS certification (ACLS as applicable)
• Minimum of 2 years' surgical assistance experience in gynecology

Preferred:

• Prior experience in inpatient gynecology surgery
• Experience with robotic gynecological procedures
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

About the Assignment

This assignment involves providing first assist coverage for gynecological surgeries at a hospital in Atlantic City, NJ. The role supports inpatient surgical procedures, including robotic surgeries, within a Level 3 Trauma Center. No call responsibilities are required, and the schedule is Monday through Friday during daytime hours.
