Work Environment\n

This position is predominantly remote, allowing counselors the flexibility to create a work environment that best suits their needs while still maintaining a close-knit connection with our team and clients. Our outpatient office setting is fully equipped with the latest technology to facilitate effective therapy sessions, including telehealth services. Counselors will utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems to manage patient information, ensuring streamlined communication and workflow.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and regular follow-ups with clients to evaluate their mental health status and overall progress.

• Develop and implement evidence-based, individualized treatment plans that address a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing inclusive and culturally responsive approaches to meet the diverse needs of clients.
\n
• Facilitate crisis interventions and provide support to clients during emotionally challenging moments, leveraging strong crisis management skills to ensure safety.

• Act as a liaison for clients, making referrals to psychiatrists and other healthcare providers as needed to ensure comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients come from various backgrounds and face a multitude of mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, PTSD, substance abuse, and eating disorders. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be expected to display cultural competence and be sensitive to the diverse needs of clients. Your ability to connect and build rapport with individuals from different walks of life will greatly enhance therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid counseling license (e.g., LMFT, LPC, LCSW) issued by the state of Texas.

• At least four years of relevant clinical experience providing mental health counseling or therapy.
\n
• A thorough understanding of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and the ability to deliver evidence-based practices.

• Advanced crisis intervention skills and a calm demeanor to effectively navigate challenging situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
