About the Opportunity:
Our client, an established firm in the real estate development and construction industry based in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking a Development Accountant for a 6-month contract engagement. This role is covering a leave of absence and is not expected to convert to a permanent position.
Position Details:
- Duration: 6 months
- Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm, 40 hour work week
- Location: Fully On-site, Midtown Manhattan, NY 10019
- Pay Rate: $45/hour - $55/hour
- Start Date: ASAP
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in real estate construction accounting
- Fluency in AIA payment applications and retainage concepts
- Demonstrated ownership of month-end close processes
- Sage 300 experience required
- eBuilder experience strongly preferred
