Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, creating and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with educators and families to support student success. With 37.5 hours per week, you will have the opportunity to engage with a diverse caseload and supervise a Physical Therapist Assistant, guiding best practices and ensuring comprehensive care within the district.

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Previous experience supervising Physical Therapist Assistants is highly valued
• Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation standards
• Ability to manage a caseload that spans K-12, adapting therapy to age and developmental level
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services and support across a variety of campuses within the district
• Complete thorough assessments to inform tailored treatment interventions
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals while maintaining compliance with educational regulations
• Supervise a PTA, providing guidance, feedback, and oversight for therapy delivery
• Maintain organized and accurate documentation for all student interactions and progress
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to achieve optimal outcomes
