Insurance Agency Position

Salary 55k-65k | Commission, Benefits & Bonus

We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Personal Lines Producer or Personal Lines Account Manager to join our growing team. This role is responsible for developing new personal lines business, maintaining strong client relationships, and delivering tailored insurance solutions that support long-term client retention and profitability.

Qualified leads will be provided by the agency , offering producers the opportunity to focus on closing new business and expanding existing client relationships while still leveraging personal networking and referral activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and develop personal lines opportunities with new and existing clients via phone, virtual meetings, written communication, and in person.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive follow-up, timely and accurate quotations, and responsive service.
• Actively round accounts and recommend coverage enhancements to increase account penetration and retention.
• Leverage agency-provided leads in addition to personal networking and referral generation to grow the book of business.
• Secure optimal coverage and pricing by marketing accounts, processing quotes, and binding coverage.
• Present policies and educate clients on coverage options, exposures, and pricing.
• Support renewal strategy and retention efforts through proactive client engagement.
• Anticipate and respond to client service needs in a timely and professional manner.
• Track and report sales activity and key performance metrics to ensure production goals are achieved.
• Collaborate with internal team members and provide mentorship and technical guidance when appropriate.
• Maintain required continuing education and stay current on industry trends, carrier products, legislation, and technology.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty insurance license required (state specific).
• Minimum 2+ years of personal lines and/or commercial lines insurance experience in a sales or account management capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent industry experience.
• Demonstrated success in insurance sales with strong closing ability.
• Solid understanding of coverages, underwriting, rating, and insurance operations.
• Excellent presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
• Client-focused, relationship-driven professional with strong business development instincts.
• Highly organized with strong time management and the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency with agency management systems and standard business technology.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Base Salary of 55k-65k plus commissions, bonus and benefits
