Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations of patients to assess their physical status and develop tailored treatment plans that address unique needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Educate patients and their families about evaluation findings, treatment protocols, and expected outcomes, ensuring they are actively involved in goal setting.
• Implement evidence-based treatment interventions and modify care plans according to patient progress, ensuring the highest level of care amidst changing healthcare environments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and assistive staff, to facilitate a holistic approach to patient recovery.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of treatment sessions, including progress notes, discharge plans, and follow-ups, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and facilitating quality assessments.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives by providing input on departmental goals and actively engaging in community marketing efforts to enhance clinic visibility.
• Serve as a mentor and clinical instructor for physical therapy students, fostering their development while enhancing your professional skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic illnesses. Our outpatient clinic caters to patients of all ages, from children to seniors, who require personalized and goal-oriented rehabilitation services. Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid DPT license in the state of Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage diverse patient caseloads effectively.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
