Work Environment

As a full-time Physical Therapist at our onsite facility in North Port, you will collaborate with a close-knit team of two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant. Together, you'll maintain a supportive and professional environment focused on the highest quality care. Our clinic hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a balanced work schedule conducive to personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate each patient's needs and goals to create tailored treatment plans.
• Manage a patient caseload of 2-3 individuals per hour, ensuring each receives focused and individualized attention.
• Utilize evidence-based practice to provide high-quality care, including therapeutic modalities suited for orthopedic outpatient care.
• Facilitate the development of strength, flexibility, and mobility through innovative fitness and wellness programs.
• Implement strategies to minimize the use of prescription medications by exploring and promoting non-surgical treatment options.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient care activities and progress using electronic medical records (EMR) software, such as WebPT.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care and track treatment outcomes.
• Motivate patients throughout their treatment process to inspire functional independence and active lifestyles.
• Assess and analyze treatment results regularly to adjust care plans as needed, ensuring optimal recovery and performance.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and provide cutting-edge treatment options.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will cater primarily to outpatient clients, including athletes and individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries. Your commitment to understanding each patient's unique circumstances will be key to crafting effective rehabilitation strategies that address pain management, mobility enhancement, and overall physical health.

Qualifications

• Earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida with no disciplinary actions.
• Diverse manual therapy skills for effective treatment application.
• Proficiency in using EMR software, particularly WebPT, for seamless patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with developing fitness and treatment regimens tailored to patient needs and abilities.
• Previous involvement in team-based treatment planning and coordination with other healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
