Work Environment

This role primarily involves onsite work in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in Port Charlotte, Florida. The facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic technologies and tools, designed to provide an optimal atmosphere for patient recovery. Our therapeutic team collaborates closely in a supportive environment to facilitate the best outcomes possible. The daily schedule is structured from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, ensuring a work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to all state practice acts relevant to physical therapy, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and legal requirements.

• Conduct thorough patient examinations and evaluations, developing comprehensive treatment plans for individuals experiencing functional limitations and disabilities.

• Implement effective treatment protocols based on evaluation findings and regularly assess patient progress, adapting plans as necessary.

• Perform evaluations including detailed history reviews, specific performance assessments, and documentation of treatment results in accordance with best practices.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide integrated care; recognize and document changes in patient conditions requiring reevaluation of treatment strategies.

• Oversee discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring clear and comprehensive documentation throughout the patient's treatment course.

• Participate in ongoing training, meeting all corporate and clinical compliance requirements while contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

• Evaluate, treat, and document the necessity of physical therapy for patients, ensuring clarity in communication and care pathways.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient centers serve a diverse array of patients who require physical therapy for orthopedic conditions. This includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain challenges. As a PT at Hype Motion Physical Therapy, you will engage with a wide range of age groups, tailoring your skills and treatment methodologies to meet each patient's unique needs.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.

• Current and valid state license to practice physical therapy.

• A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.

• Up-to-date CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

Experience in implementing evidence-based treatment protocols and familiarity with modern rehabilitation technologies is highly valued. Candidates who have additional credentials or training in specialties such as sports therapy or manual therapy will be considered favorably.

Compensation and Benefits
