About This Role The Nurse Education Manager is responsible for managing, assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating clinical and educational activities within the Emergency Department. This role is ideal for experienced nursing professionals with a strong background in education and leadership. Highlights Pay: $119,580 - $144,384.52 Annually Location: New York, NY Facility: Mount Sinai Morningside Department/Unit: Nursing Emergency Services - STL Schedule: Full-Time What You'll Do Lead nursing practice using the Professional Practice Model of Relationship Centered Care. Demonstrate proficiency in Purposeful Hourly Rounding (PHR) and role model expected behaviors. Ensure integration of PHR into clinical activities to enhance Relationship Centered Care. Validate staff competency in PHR and provide meaningful feedback. Communicate patient experience information to staff and the Interdisciplinary Patient Care Team. Collaborate with Clinical Nurse Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager/physician dyad. Follow up on patient concerns and provide service recovery as needed. Oversee the development and implementation of the budget. Maintain and evaluate educational record keeping and reporting systems. Conduct orientation, in-service, competency, and cardiac life support programs.
