About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Procurement with a strong background in supplier relationship management, commercial negotiation, and international sourcing operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of serving as the primary procurement contact for manufacturers, from managing existing accounts to identifying and qualifying new suppliers. The successful candidate will also be adept at commercial negotiation, with a focus on improving unit economics and expanding gross margin through strategic supplier terms. Experience in international sourcing, including end-to-end procurement from foreign manufacturers and managing supply chains across different geographies, is essential. In addition to the must-have criteria, the Head of Procurement should have a background in inventory and working capital discipline, cross-functional operating capability, and experience in building and scaling procurement functions. The role demands a professional who can make consequential inventory decisions, operate with a high level of autonomy, and has a founder-paced operating style. While not mandatory, proximity to the electrical or industrial sector is a plus, as it provides an understanding of the specific materials and supply chain dynamics relevant to the company's business.
