This role is central to the firm's financial health and requires a detail-oriented leader with deep legal billing expertise and the ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys and firm leadership.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of billing professionals, overseeing daily workflow, performance, and developmentReview prebills through final invoice issuance, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client engagement letters and outside counsel guidelinesPartner with firm leadership and attorneys to resolve billing disputes and support revenue cycle goalsOversee electronic billing submissions and troubleshoot rejections across client platformsAssist with complex billing arrangements including contingency, flat fee, and alternative fee agreements (AFAs)Coordinate with collections and accounting teams to support timely cash receiptsRequirements5+ years of billing experience in a law firm environment required, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management roleProficiency in legal billing software required; experience with Aderant, Elite 3E / Thomson Reuters 3E, Tabs3, ProLaw, or BillBlast preferredStrong knowledge of outside counsel guidelines and client billing complianceExperience managing eBilling submissions across multiple client portals (Collaborati, TyMetrix 360, Legal Tracker)Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
