In this part-time role, you’ll provide vital physical therapy services during regular school hours (8:30 am – 2:30 pm), working approximately 30 hours a week. You will work closely with school staff and families to deliver compensatory services to a caseload of seven students, ensuring their individual needs are met with a high standard of care.

Ideal Background and Experience:

• Current or pending Pennsylvania Physical Therapist license
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric therapy setting preferred
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other therapists
• Strong organizational skills to manage documentation and therapy schedules
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to student care
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, develop, and implement physiotherapy plans for students
• Deliver compensatory service hours to assigned caseload
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
• Collaborate in multi-disciplinary meetings with educational staff
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding progress
