MSL/Senior MSL Oncology, Multiple Myeloma (Great Lakes East)

AbbVie seeks a field-based Medical Science Liaison or Senior MSL in oncology focused on multiple myeloma for the Great Lakes East region. The role involves developing healthcare professional relationships, presenting scientific information, supporting clinical research, and serving as a peer expert in the therapeutic area.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop professional relationships with thought leaders and academic centers in multiple myeloma
- Present scientific information on disease state, therapeutic landscape, and AbbVie products to healthcare professionals
- Support research initiatives including site identification, investigator meetings, and external collaboration management
- Answer unsolicited medical questions and provide clinical resources to healthcare providers
- Train medical affairs, sales, and internal personnel on scientific and technical content
Requirements
- Advanced degree (PharmD, MD/DO, PhD, or APP) in relevant scientific discipline
- 3+ years relevant experience for Senior MSL; 0-2 years for MSL level
- HCIR credentialing eligibility including background check and immunization requirements
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and related software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 75% within Michigan and Indiana territory
