Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and other forms of sign language interpretation
• Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) score or relevant national certification strongly preferred
• Prior experience interpreting in K-12 schools or educational environments
• Excellent listening, memory, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to adapt signing style to meet students' individual needs
• An understanding of confidentiality, sensitivity, and professionalism

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver real-time sign language interpretation between students, teachers, and staff in various school settings
• Accurately convey instructional materials, classroom dialogue, and extracurricular activities
