Description

• Engage in personalized speech therapy sessions geared towards enhancing communication abilities, language skills, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing proficiency.
• Collaborate seamlessly with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, medical doctors, caregivers, and families to ensure comprehensive care approaches.
• Provide educational resources and guidance to patients and families to facilitate progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Contribute to inpatient evaluations and interventions occasionally, guaranteeing a cohesive care pathway throughout the treatment process.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Required state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
