Position: Sr. Grants & Contracts Specialist Openings: 1 Location: Silver Spring, MD 20910 Hybrid schedule! On-site Tuesdays and Wednesdays in-office Duration: PERM (Direct Hire, FTE) Salary Range: entry $62,088 mid $82,784 max $103,480 Interview Process: 2 round virtual Set interviews up in 24 hours Anticipated Start Date: ASAP (typically 4-6 week onboarding process from offer acceptance to starting 1st day) University central office background Was "hitting the submit button" with the pre-award team STRONG pre-award background Must Haves 3yrs+ grants/contracts administration experience supporting research and/or healthcare programs (MUST have experience supporting NIH funded grants/contracts) Knowledge of NIH Grants Policy Statement, FAR and DFAR clauses, OMB Circulars A-110, A-122, and A-133, and 45 CFR Part 74 Appendix E Proficient with MS Suite (primarily Word and Excel) Plusses Masters Certified Research Administrator (CRA) certification Overview: Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Grants & Contracts Specialist to support the pre-award team at a nationally recognized pediatric healthcare and research organization supporting high-impact grant and research initiatives. This individual will serve as the primary sponsor-facing contractual and administrative point of contact from application submission through notice of award while ensuring compliance with sponsor requirements and proper setup within Children's grants management systems. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Independently manage grants, contracts, and clinical trial agreements from federal, non-federal, state, local government, private foundation, and pharmaceutical sponsors Review grant proposals for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with sponsor and organizational requirements Coordinate proposal submission timelines and ensure on-time submission of applications Serve as an expert resource to faculty and departments regarding grant administration and proposal requirements Submit finalized proposals to funding agencies and sponsors Coordinate required approvals and documentation with institutional signing officials Negotiate legal terms and conditions for industry-sponsored clinical trial agreements Review contracts and support contract negotiations as needed Coordinate with the Clinical Trial Office regarding patient-care budget requests Ensure compliance with federal regulations, sponsor guidelines, and institutional policies Collaborate with internal teams to ensure award terms and conditions are met throughout the grant lifecycle Maintain accurate documentation and support research administration processes #J-18808-Ljbffr
