Senior Associate, Strategic Partnerships & Corporate Development

Role Overview HarbourVest Partners - a leading global private markets fund of funds and secondaries platform - is hiring a Senior Associate for its Strategic Partnerships & Corporate Development team in Boston. The role works directly with senior partnership leaders to source, evaluate, structure, and execute high-impact partnerships that broaden HarbourVest's distribution reach and product platform, including distribution alliances with wealth platforms/intermediaries and strategic product collaborations. Key Responsibilities Deal Execution : own partnership workstreams end-to-end - sizing, commercial diligence, negotiation, structuring, and onboarding; build financial models, returns analyses, and economic sensitivities; prepare decision-grade memos for senior leadership and investment/partnership committees; partner with Legal on term sheets and definitive agreements Strategic Analysis : develop investment theses on prospective partners and distribution channels; benchmark competitor activity and industry trends across the alternatives landscape Cross-Functional Leadership : drive working groups across Product, Marketing, Sales, Legal, Client Operations, and Investor Relations; manage partner relationships post-close against agreed economics and deliverables Performance & Reporting : build benchmark frameworks and dashboards to measure partnership impact; maintain pipeline and execution tracking in Salesforce Qualifications Bachelor's degree required 2-6 years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, transaction advisory, management consulting, or strategic partnerships/business development at a financial services firm Strong analytical, modeling, and memo-writing skills; genuine interest in private markets and alternative investments Location Boston, MA (hybrid - up to 5 remote days/quarter beyond a standard remote day, subject to manager approval) #J-18808-Ljbffr InforCapital
