Biopharma Key Account Manager

Leica Microsystems seeks a Biopharma Key Account Manager to lead sales strategy and relationship management for life science research accounts in the Philadelphia/New Jersey region. The role involves managing the full sales cycle, developing strategic account plans, and driving revenue growth across microscopy and imaging solutions.
Responsibilities
- Own and grow assigned biopharma territory with full accountability for revenue, bookings, and forecast accuracy
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for priority customers across scientific, operational, and executive levels
- Drive new customer acquisition and expansion through prospecting, cross-selling, and upselling activities
- Manage complete sales cycle including qualification, demonstrations, pricing, and contract negotiations
- Build long-term customer relationships by understanding workflows and communicating technical value while maintaining CRM data
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life science discipline such as biology, chemistry, or biochemistry
- 2+ years selling technical, scientific, or capital equipment in biopharma or life sciences
- Core understanding of microscopy, imaging, and applications
- Strong knowledge of biopharma research environments and scientific stakeholder engagement
- Proven ability to manage complex, consultative sales cycles with multiple decision-makers
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift or carry equipment up to 25 pounds
Compensation: $120,000-$140,000 base, plus sales incentive pay
