Payroll Administrator / Payroll Specialist

We are looking for a strong Payroll Administrator / Payroll Specialist to join our team.

Payroll Processing

• Coordinate, reconcile and process weekly and bi-weekly payroll using ADP Workforce Payroll

• Establish accurate and timely processing of payroll

• Calculate and process wage adjustments

• Process employee changes (i.e. new hires, terminations, garnishments, tax levy deductions, calculations, other deductions, etc.)

• Assure timely processing of all workers' compensation and unemployment wage requests

• Complete and submit disability coverage data for processing and payment

• Arrange payroll reports as needed

• Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions

• Respond promptly and courteously to all payroll inquiries from management and employees

• Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential

• Conduct other tasks as required and assigned

• Must be technology savvy

• Must have strong excel macros skills

Required

At least three (3) years of payroll at a company with at least 500 employees Multi-State Payroll experience Multi-location Payroll experience Eligible to work in the United States with the status of a Permanent Resident or US Citizen Preferred

Bachelors' or associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification

Intermediate Level Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, IF Formulas) Intermediate Level Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint Expert Level Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now

Interpersonal Ability to use metrics to maintain and improve the international payroll process Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task efficiently and cooperate with fellow professionals in various disciplines and both office and out-of-office environments Detail oriented, with high level of ethics and integrity Must be willing to develop and grow with the company and have the desire to take on more responsibility Superior communication skills (oral, written)
