Payroll Specialist (Bilingual Spanish) ?? Montebello, CA (Onsite, Monday-Friday) Our client, a well-established food manufacturing company, is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong high-volume payroll experience who enjoys a collaborative, family-oriented work environment and values work-life balance. Position Details
- Temp-to-hire preferred (direct hire considered)
- $29-32/hr
- Conversion salary target of $60,000-$70,000 annually
- Immediate need
- 3+ years of high-volume, full-cycle payroll experience
- Experience processing payroll for ~500+ employees
- Paylocity experience strongly preferred
- Bilingual Spanish required
- Experience with garnishments and payroll reconciliations
- Experience reconciling staffing agency invoices
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Multi-state payroll experience
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or environments utilizing both direct and agency labor
- Process full-cycle payroll for approximately 500 employees
- Manage both weekly and bi-weekly payroll cycles
- Process payroll for W-2 employees and agency employees
- Administer payroll through Paylocity
- Handle garnishments, payroll audits, and reconciliations
- Reconcile staffing agency invoices for Accounts Payable
- Support multi-state payroll processing
- Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and timely payroll delivery
