What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology and telecommunications location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and access issues.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures; provide directions and assistance to visitors as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and notification protocols.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
