Technical Sales Account Manager

Technical Sales Account ManagerMaxLinear is seeking a Technical Sales Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will focus on the following:Develop and execute a plan to grow revenue with distributors in the territory, aligned with corporate initiativesInteract with key distributor management, sales, and engineering contacts in the branches to promote MaxLinear solutions; in-person weekly branch visibilityManage the Distributor Registration process in CRM and conduct monthly distributor opportunity reviews to drive the funnel to design wins and revenueIdentify and execute the required training programs to educate the distributor sales and field application engineers (FAEs)Partner with marketing to plan and coordinate product launches and promotions including positioning, pricing, training, product promotions, support, and competitive responseQualifications:Semiconductor industry knowledge, including the competition, industry standards, and trendsTrack-record of success leading aggressive, results-driven campaigns through sales channelsSuccess influencing opinions and actions of internal stakeholders, customers, and partnersStrong analytical and problem-solving skills utilizing CRM, POS, and other data gathering systems to understand customer landscape and formulate targeted plans to drive revenue growthExcellent oral and written communications skills and experience creating and making highly effective presentations to customers and internal managementStrong organizational, project management, execution skills, and a demonstrated ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment with an open and transparent communication style with a flair for getting things doneStrong understanding of MS tools, esp.
