A contracted opportunity is available for a skilled paraprofessional supporting a high school student in an educational setting near Newtown Square, PA. This position is a 1:1 assignment, engaging with a 15-year-old student throughout the academic year and closely collaborating with school personnel to implement individualized education plans.

Qualifications and Required Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional in a school environment
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and special needs support
• Valid and current clearances: child abuse, criminal background, and police check
• Compassionate, patient approach when working with students
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to a 15-year-old student during instructional and non-instructional periods
• Assist in implementing and documenting progress on the student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
• Encourage the student’s academic, social, and behavioral growth within classroom and school routines
• Collaborate with teaching staff and other school professionals to create a positive learning environment
• Adapt strategies as needed to support the student’s daily needs and learning objectives
