*Responsibilities*

* Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial and commercial electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
* Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system layouts.
* Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and electrical safety procedures.
* Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely on industrial equipment and infrastructure.
* Diagnose electrical issues using testing devices such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot complex systems involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low-voltage circuits.
* Conduct routine maintenance on existing electrical systems, including renovation projects and construction site installations.
* Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including incident reports, inspection logs, and compliance records.

*Requirements*

* Valid Journeyman Electrician license or certification with proven experience in industrial and commercial electrical work.
* Extensive hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems, high-voltage wiring, and troubleshooting complex electrical issues.
* Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, local electrical codes, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation.
* Proficiency with electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters; experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable.
* Ability to read technical schematics and blueprints accurately for installation or repair projects.
* Experience working on construction sites, renovation projects, or similar environments with a focus on safety procedures.
* Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, power drills, conduit benders, and other essential electrical equipment.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot diverse electrical systems efficiently.
* Knowledge of low voltage wiring systems for commercial applications is a plus.
