Build Your Sales Career This role is designed as a career-launching opportunity, providing the foundation to grow into a full-cycle Account Representative or Territory Account Manager role. Make a Direct Impact You'll help introduce SimuTech to organizations that don't yet know us, creating new relationships and fueling growth across your assigned region. Learn from Experienced Sales Professionals Work side-by-side with Regional Sales Managers and experienced Account Representatives while developing prospecting, qualification, and business development skills. Own Your Success You'll be trusted to manage your territory, build relationships, and create opportunities while receiving coaching and support to help you succeed. Prospect organizations within your assigned sales region that do not currently do business with SimuTech Research accounts and key decision-makers to create personalized outreach strategies Initiate contact through LinkedIn, email, and phone outreach Qualify prospective customers and identify potential business opportunities Partner closely with territory Account Representatives to transition qualified opportunities Follow up on marketing-generated leads and campaign responses Re-engage dormant accounts using established outreach strategies Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce Share market insights, outreach feedback, and messaging effectiveness with Sales and Marketing teams Participate in coaching sessions, call reviews, and territory planning activities What You’ll Bring: Up to 3 years of customer-facing experience; prior sales or Business Development Representative experience is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills Confidence initiating conversations and building relationships with new contacts Ability to follow a defined sales process and maintain CRM accuracy Curiosity about technical products and a desire to learn how engineering organizations evaluate and purchase solutions Strong organizational and time-management skills Post-secondary education preferred Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator Exposure to engineering, manufacturing, simulation, or other technical B2B environments What Success Looks Like Success in this role is measured by your contribution to new-logo growth within your assigned region, the quality and number of qualified opportunities you generate, and the completeness and accuracy of your Salesforce records. You'll be encouraged to continuously improve through coaching and professional development. Activity metrics, such as call volume and outreach activity, are used as coaching and improvement tools rather than simple pass/fail measures. Compensation On-Target Earnings (OTE): $80,000 - $100,000 Variable compensation is tied to qualified lead conversion and business impact. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, location, and market conditions. Location Remote within theNorthern California region.
