Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of new clients to assess their mental health needs, strengths, and challenges, employing evidence-based assessment tools.

• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on measurable goals that promote personal and emotional growth.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness approaches, and solution-focused strategies.

• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapy sessions, including client progress notes and treatment modifications in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaborations with other healthcare providers, when applicable, to coordinate care and share insights related to client treatment.

• Stay current with professional development and continuing education to enhance counseling skills and maintain state licensure.

• Promote client confidentiality and data security diligently, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Empowerment Pathways, you will work with a diverse client base that includes adults, children, adolescents, and families facing various life challenges such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and stress management. Your compassionate approach will empower clients to overcome obstacles and achieve their therapeutic goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
\n
• At least two years of clinical experience in counseling or therapy settings, demonstrating a robust understanding of therapeutic techniques.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, proficient in establishing therapeutic rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a telehealth environment, utilizing technology to provide effective counseling services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
