Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more, adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Document all procedures meticulously, mentor new staff or students, and help maintain laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe workspace, complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, with plans to obtain ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Must achieve ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification throughout employment.
