Job Profile
An HR generalist manages daily human resources tasks. They handle hiring, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, and legal compliance.
Responsibilities
? Hiring and Onboarding: Post jobs, screen resumes, set up interviews, and guide new staff through orientation.
? Employee Relations: Help solve workplace issues, answer staff questions, and support positive team culture
? Benefits and Pay Support: Explain and manage employee benefits, track time-off, and assist with payroll data.
? Policy and Compliance: Make sure the company follows labor laws and update the employee handbook.
? Records and Data: Keep secure, accurate worker files using HR software (HRIS)
Requirements/Key Experiences
? Education: Associate?s degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
? Experience: 2 to 4 years of hands-on HR work.
? Knowledge: Strong grasp of basic labor laws and HR best practices.
? Soft Skills: Clear communication, active listening, and fair problem-solving.
? Tech Skills: Comfort with Microsoft Office and online HR tools or databases
