The role supports a caseload of 22 students and offers a consistent, full-time schedule of 35 hours per week.

Preferred skills and background:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• SLP-CCC certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
• Active Maryland state licensure and relevant certifications
• Previous experience in a school setting is valued, but not required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Commitment to collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff for students’ success

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering direct speech therapy sessions to students according to their IEPs
• Conducting assessments, screenings, and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs
• Developing individualized treatment plans and preparing progress reports
• Collaborating with educators, administrators, and families to support student growth
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing professional recommendations
• Maintaining thorough, compliant documentation of services and student progress
