Strategic Account Executive

Job Description We are looking for a Strategic Account Executive to join our team at Grata, a leading private‑market platform. As a Strategic Account Executive you will focus on executing an enterprise growth strategy within your assigned territory, building and executing a complex sales process with multi‑billion dollar organizations. About Grata for Datasite Grata is the industry leader in providing comprehensive, searchable proprietary data on private companies, transactions, and market trends. The platform is trusted by private equity, investment banking, management consulting, and corporate development teams for market research, target origination, and competitive analysis. Grata has over 1,600 customers and is widely recognized by G2 and PE Wire. Responsibilities Own the entire sales process for the largest, highest‑value private equity firms. Carry out extended, multithreaded sales cycles with key decision makers, including C‑Suite level contacts. Build, iterate, and refine an enterprise sales motion. Use industry knowledge to identify trends and anticipate customer needs. Qualifications 7+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, preferably in financial services; 3+ years of enterprise sales experience. Firm knowledge of the M&A landscape and end markets (private equity, corporate development, investment banking). Experience selling to C‑Suite level decision makers at Fortune500 companies. Demonstrable success closing large, complex software agreements with consistent over‑performance against quota. Comfort operating through longer sales cycles and multithreaded strategic sales processes. Strong consultative selling skills – ability to listen actively, ask insightful questions, and uncover real client needs, becoming a trusted partner. Experience with CRM and relevant sales tools. Compensation We offer competitive cash compensation. For roles based in NewYorkCity, the estimated OTE (On‑Target Earnings) is $250,000–$300,000 per year. Compensation is based on location, role scope, complexity, and candidate experience.
