Senior Engineer, Continuous Improvement

Stryker seeks a Senior Engineer for Continuous Improvement to optimize manufacturing value streams at its Irvine facility. This onsite role involves designing lean systems, leading improvement initiatives, and collaborating across teams to enhance productivity and reduce waste in medical device production.
Responsibilities
- Lead value stream mapping workshops and kaizen events to identify improvement opportunities
- Design and implement process improvements that enhance productivity and reduce waste
- Monitor lean metrics including lead time, changeover time, and inventory levels
- Coach and influence cross-functional teams on lean concepts and methodology
- Partner with finance to quantify and document cost reductions from improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in manufacturing or operations
- Experience in medical device or highly regulated industry
- Lean manufacturing certification preferred
- Shingijutsu methodology or similar continuous improvement experience highly preferred
Compensation: $89,400 - $148,900 USD Annual
