Key Responsibilities\n

• Actively communicate with medical professionals to discuss the progress, needs, and concerns of patients, ensuring continuous, holistic care.

• Maintain comprehensive, accurate clinical records, including timely updates to progress notes in adherence to departmental protocols.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create, implement, and adapt treatment plans tailored to the unique psychosocial needs of each patient.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions, focusing on crisis intervention, emotional support, and the management of behavioral issues.

• Guide patients through discharge planning, ensuring they have access to essential follow-up services and community resources as needed.

• Engage with family members and support systems to facilitate open communication regarding treatment goals, interventions, and discharge strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve interacting with a diverse array of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges. As part of Bright Shelter Healing Center, you will work with individuals who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders, among other issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or a comparable mental health credential is essential for this role.

• Minimum of three years of practical experience in an outpatient mental health setting, demonstrating skill in diverse therapeutic practices.

• Proven ability to provide evidence-based treatment, ensuring that clients receive the most effective care possible.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently, with proficiency in various software applications, including MS Office.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate the documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits\n
