Job description
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Safety Coordinator to support daily safety operations in our latex glove manufacturing facility. This role ensures compliance with OSHA standards, promotes safe work practices, and maintains a hazard‐free environment across all production lines. The ideal candidate is detail‐oriented, consistent, and comfortable working on the production floor to monitor procedures, equipment, and employee safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily safety inspections across production lines and work areas.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and enforce company safety policies.
- Monitor machine operation safety, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Identify and report hazards, unsafe behaviors, or equipment issues.
- Assist with incident investigations , documentation, and corrective actions.
- Maintain safety logs, checklists, and compliance records.
- Provide basic OSHA‐aligned safety training to new and existing employees.
- Support emergency response drills and evacuation procedures.
- Promote a clean, organized, and safe environment following 5S principles .
- Collaborate with supervisors to ensure production activities follow safety standards.
Qualifications:
OSHA 30 (required).
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Experience in construction safety or industrial safety preferred.
