Interlake Mecalux is a leading company in the global warehousing systems market. Our evolving, innovative, and customer-focused team partners with our customers to offer the best solutions possible for their warehousing needs.

We are looking to hire an Industrial Sales Representative (outside sales) to join our sales team, working remotely from a home office in the Boise, Idaho area. The Industrial Sales Representative is responsible for the sale of racking and static and dynamic storage solutions within Utah and Idaho, with most business being around Salt Lake City and Boise areas.

Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Manage customer relationships by continuously updating and training racking or material handling dealers, distributors, systems integrators, and end-users on our racking products and applications.
• Visit dealers, distributors, and end users in territory in order to strengthen existing relationships, follow up on leads and quotes, and close business.
• Conduct sales presentations, complete sales calls, manage sales order negotiations, and oversee the execution of sales orders.
• Partner with internal technical resources to create quotes for customers.
• Partner with customers to develop long term relationships, generate additional sales, and guide problem resolution discussions.
• Develop daily, monthly, and weekly sales plans that include prospecting activities and forecasts.
• Ensure completion of customer projects through the coordination of engineering, manufacturing, installation, and customer service activities.
• Update daily the lead, quote, and order activity in company's CRM software, CIM. Keep CIM updated daily.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering is preferred.
• At least one year of experience in Industrial Sales, with experience independently creating technical quotes for customers.
• Strong technical aptitude and high sense of urgency.
• Must live within one hour (driving) of Boise, Idaho.
• Must have an excellent driving record and own a car with auto liability coverage limits of $100,000 per person, $300,000 per accident in bodily injury liability, and $100,000 per accident in property damage liability.
• Willingness for business travel locally in Idaho and Utah, visiting customers 2-4 days per week.
• High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
