Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans that encompass both pre-crisis and crisis strategies, including the creation of behavioral guidelines and risk assessments.

• Complete necessary documentation accurately and within required timelines to meet regulatory standards, ensuring all clinical records are maintained with confidentiality and professionalism.

• Utilize evidence-based screening tools in collaboration with the clinical team to ensure comprehensive evaluations and support.

• Participate actively in the development and implementation of positive behavior support plans, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

• Engage proactively in all licensing and accreditation processes, demonstrating adherence to both organizational standards and external regulations.

• Serve as a liaison with state agencies and community partners to facilitate connections and resources that benefit our client population.

• Establish and maintain strong lines of communication across various stakeholder groups to promote the agency's mission within the community.

• Build relationships with local, state, and federal agencies to advocate for our programs, identify funding opportunities, and establish partnerships.

• Pursue continuing education and professional development opportunities, such as attending conferences and representing the agency in various forums.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, contributing to the agile needs of the team.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse client population, addressing a variety of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges, as well as providing support for individuals with substance use disorders and developmental disabilities.
