Adult Therapist

Responsibilities Provide in-person and virtual therapeutic services in the Glendale and Tempe areas Facilitate groups Complete individual counseling services and assessments Provide psychotherapy for assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of adults and their families Individualize services to meet clients' unique needs Use community resources and referrals to enhance and expand treatment Deliver at least 40 hours of work per week, with a goal of 30 hours of therapy services Provide case management services Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of treatment and prevention programs Produce complete, timely, thorough, quality clinical documentation for billable and non-billable services Maintain client records in accordance with agency, RBHA, state, and federal requirements Participate in the Quality Management Program Participate in regular supervision and accept collaborative, strengths-based feedback Interact with clinical, support, and administrative staff Attend administrative, in-service, and staff meetings Recommend changes to improve service delivery Coordinate communication with other agency departments to ensure continuity of care Participate in committees and work groups Provide instruction and training for interns and coworkers when requested Develop and maintain relationships with state, community, contracting, and collaborating organizations Utilize Best Practice therapeutic approaches whenever possible Requirements Must possess a Master's Degree in behavioral health field Licensure through AzBBHE preferred Experience working with adults in the community behavioral health field preferred Detail orientated and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Must be organized and reliable Knowledge of community resources Trauma-informed Ability to individualize treatment Must have Fingerprint clearance card or be eligible to obtain one Must have a valid AZ driver's license with no major infractions in the past three years Must have regular access to reliable transportation Must be at least 21 years of age at time of employment If driving while on agency time or on agency business, appropriate liability insurance and approval for liability coverage with EMPACT-SPC's liability insurance carrier is required At time of hire, a 3-year state driving record with no major infractions or excessive driving violations/tickets is required Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in providing therapeutic services, including individual counseling and group facilitation, while maintaining compliance with clinical documentation and quality management standards.
