As a Security Officer Interior Patrol in Memphis, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. In this unarmed patrol role, you will bring agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to a people-first environment that values professionalism and care.

- Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, warehouse perimeters, and/or other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, verify credentials and/or documentation as directed by site policies, and document security-related events in logs or reports.
- Assist with traffic flow, gate operations, and/or vehicle checks as assigned, while maintaining awareness of site rules, restricted areas, and/or post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
